Consulting

In CHMM, consulting refers to the advisory services provided by our experts to support the design, planning, and execution of metallurgical and chemical projects.

Consulting is a vital component of the overall Life-cycle services, but can also be offered as a standalone service for clients requiring specialized knowledge or guidance.

Engineering

Basic Engineering

Basic Engineering is the initial phase following conceptual design or testing. Before launching Life-cycle Services, feasibility studies and basic engineering work address technical challenges and provide preliminary cost estimates.

This stage is typically contracted to Life-cycle Services providers like CHMM, either through direct contracts or competitive bidding.

Detailed Engineering

Detailed Engineering builds upon Basic Engineering through close collaboration among specialized engineers and project teams. It begins with Process Design and extends to Equipment, Electrical, Control Systems, and space-integration designs, including Piping, Civil, and Building.

CHMM ensures seamless coordination throughout the design phase, prioritizing environmental and safety requirements alongside operability and maintainability. By considering site-specific conditions from the start, we optimize efficiency and effectiveness, delivering well-integrated and sustainable solutions.

Procurement

The Procurement Department plays a crucial role in the Life-cycle Services, acting as the bridge between engineering and installation. Its main responsibilities include:

Procuring and manufacturing materials/equipment within the project budget

Managing production progress after orders are placed

Ensuring quality control through inspections and coordinating transportation to sites according to the project schedule

CHMM Procurement Team members in the procurement department need skills such as an understanding of market trends, knowledge of international regulations, the ability to assess prices calmly, strong negotiation skills, and the determination to meet tough quality standards.
