Sn VDF

The Tin Vacuum Distillation Furnace (Sn VDF), also referred to as the Lead-Tin-Antimony Metal Vacuum Distillation Unit (Pb-Sn-Sb VDU), is a specialized vacuum metallurgy equipment designed for the efficient extraction of tin metal from lead-tin (Pb-Sn) alloys.

These alloys are typically by-products of lead smelting processes or the recycling of spent lead batteries.

Why choose CHMM's VDF?

- No chemical reactions during production; no need for chemical reagents

- No off-gas emissions

- No metal loss: total input Pb-Sn Alloy = Output Crude Tin + Output CrudeLead/Lead Alloy

- Easy to inspect and maintain

- Compact design with asmall footprint: 8m × 9m

FAQs

01
Should buyers of the Tin Vacuum Distillation Furnace (Sn VDF) install off-gas treatment equipment?
The Sn VDF does not produce any off-gas during operation. If the workshop is properly ventilated, buyers or owners do not need to install off-gas treatment equipment for the Sn VDF.
02
Can the Tin Vacuum Distillation Furnace handle raw materials witharsenic (As) impurities?
Yes - The Tin Vacuum Distilation Furnace is equipped with a standard sub-assembly called the arsenic (As) collector. This component effectively vaporizes and condenses arsenic impurities, capturing them efficently. To maintain optimal performance, the arsenic collector should be serviced every 30 days. It enables the recovery of arsenic at a purity level of 99%, which can then be reused in lead smelting.
03
What is the lead time for delivery?
The standard lead time for he Tin Vacuum Distilation Furnace is approximately three months.
