The Polymeric Clad Plates (PCP) are launched officially in the market in 2013 and obtained 22 patents, to replace formerly used traditional anti-corrosive materials and processes such as granites, resin mortar, furan concrete, and acid-resistant tiles, all of which show different degree of corrosion after 3-5 years of use. Such corrosion causes the corrosive liquid leakage and leads to the arched ground deformation, seriously affecting the clean and green production and arousing other defects.

The PCP are made of environment-friendly materials with original technology formula and advanced processing equipment, through more than 20 processes. Its designed lifespan can last for 30 years. Experiments show that these plates can be produced and processed depending on different media and temperature conditions and have excellent anti-corrosion effects against acids like hydrofluoric acid, diluted sulfuric acid, wet chlorine, saline, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, etc., and alkali. The PCP also have excellent anti-corrosion effects on the floor, ground, equipment foundation, ditches, pools, cells, tanks and towers in corrosive environments, as well as the construction of projects like sewage treatment and environment protection.

PCP Installation Plan

1. Requirements for the foundation: The concrete foundation must be flat, and the height different should be less than 3mmwhen checked with a 2m straightedge. The concrete surface should be solid without dust emission, and the rate of water content at 5mm depth should be less than 6%.

 

2. Isolation layer solution:

Floor and ground (plane) can choose 1mm of FRP insulation layer

Ditches, pools and cells can choose 2-3mm FRP insulation layer

Equipment lining can also choose 2-3mm of FRP insulation layer

 

3. Installation method of PCP: Pave with PCP using PCP-special resin mastic and set aside joints. The indoor joint width is 2-3mm; the outdoor joint width is 8-12mm; for large area indoor paving, a 25mm expansion joint shall be set aside every 8-10 meters.

 

4. Completion quality: No bubbles in the paving mastic; clean, bright and flat surface; geight difference less than 2mm when checked with a 2m straightedge.

 

5. Barite plate are resistant to fluorine-containing medium (less than 1.5%).
