CHMM has successfully completed a tin project in South India, supplying a tin vacuum distillation furnace (Sn VDF) with a capacity of 20 tons per day to a local client.

The 20t/d Sn VDF represents an innovative advancement by the CHMM technical team. Compared to the previous 10t/d model, the 20t/d Sn VDF achieves a 100% increase in handling capacity while only increasing energy consumption by 18%.

The Indian client is utilizing the 20t/d Sn VDF to extract tin metal from lead-tin alloy, a by-product of secondary lead smelting.

For the different raw materials having different purity level input, the Sn VDF output is refined tin with a purity of Sn=99.8% to 99.9% .

Now, the Indian client is highly satisfied with the performance of the Sn VDF. Furthermore, discussions are ongoing regarding a high-purity tin project (Sn≥99.999%) with CHMM
