CHMM successfully completed a tin project in Turkey, supplying advanced tin smelting equipment, including a tin vacuum distillation furnace (Sn VDF), a tin crystallizer, a tin refining pot, and associated technical documentation to a leading smelter in 2022.

In October 2023, the Turkish client installed the Sn VDF with guidance from CHMM engineers at their tin plant. During the commissioning phase in November 2023, the client produced crude tin ingots with a purity of Sn=99.1% to 99.6%.

By January 2024, the Turkish client achieved refined tin ingots with a purity of Sn≥99.95%, supported by CHMM's technical expertise.

Thanks to the tin smelting equipment supplied by CHMM, the Turkish client can efficiently extract tin from lead-tin (Pb-Sn) alloys, thereby enhancing their profit margins.

The Turkish client has expressed satisfaction with the collaboration with the CHMM team. Currently, discussions are underway regarding an electrolytic tin project.
