In 2022, the copper cathode project by CHMM has successfully operated in Mongolia. The project is located in the north of Mongolia. The temperature is extremely cold in winter could reach -30℃ in winter. The product supplied by CHMM such as electroytic cell, lead anode, copper busbar, rectifier, pumps and etc.could smoothly operated in the extremely cold area.

The project capacity is 10000tpa copper cathode. The project raw materials is copper oxide ore and final product is copper cathode (Cu content:≥99.99%）

The main process of the project is heap leaching-solvent extraction-electro-winning to process the copper oxide ore and to produce the copper cathode. It is a mature technology.

Now, the project is under normal production and the copper cathode produced in the project has been sold to China and USA ,and has made huge profit to the client.
